Russia struck Chernihiv with drones: two children are among casualties. PHOTOS
Four people, including two children, were injured as a result of an evening attack by Russian drones on a residential area of Chernihiv.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in a press release from the National Police of Ukraine.
Strike on a residential neighbourhood
Russian forces attacked a residential neighbourhood in Chernihiv with drones. A 62-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man and two boys aged 10 and 12 were injured as a result of the strikes and the ensuing fires.
One detached house was completely destroyed by the fire. The blast wave and debris also damaged at least five neighbouring detached houses.
Law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the attack. They are gathering evidence of yet another crime committed by the Russian Federation, documenting the extent of the damage and providing assistance to those affected.
It was previously reported that critical infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv were damaged as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack.
