Today, during the night of 26 August, an enemy drone attacked a vehicle carrying DTEK mine workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in fatalities.
This was reported by DTEK, according to Censor.NET.
"A terrible tragedy: the enemy has taken the lives of two of our fellow miners who were returning home after their shift… We offer our sincere condolences to their families and loved ones. This is a heavy and painful loss for the entire DTEK family. May our colleagues rest in peace," the statement reads.
Vitalii Semenov
As noted, 52-year-old Vitalii Semenov worked as a miner in support roles. He is survived by his father, wife and two children.
Illia Rusanenko
48-year-old Illia Rusanenko worked as an underground electrician. He is survived by his mother, wife and two children.
