Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak visited a rehearsal of the March of Independence scheduled to be held on the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence in Kyiv, Aug. 24.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the Defense Ministry's press service, the minister checked the final arrangements for the parade.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree "On holding the military display on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence." According to the document, the military parade will be held on Kyiv's Khreshchatyk Street and Maidan Nezalezhnosti Aug. 24.
