Across Ukraine, efforts are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the virtually uninterrupted Russian attack. Thirteen regions have come under attack.
According to Censor.NET, this was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Serhii Koretskyi.
"Thirteen regions have been hit: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Ternopil and Kirovohrad," the statement reads.
The strikes have damaged residential buildings, warehouses, as well as utility and energy infrastructure facilities.
A warehouse containing medicines is on fire in the Kyiv region
In the Kyiv region, emergency services are battling a fire at a warehouse where medicines were stored.
In Odesa, a Russian attack damaged a multi-storey residential block – floors 10 to 17 were affected.
"There are casualties, including children. Medical staff are providing the necessary assistance," said Koretskyi.
The threat of further strikes persists in the regions
The attack by Russian forces is ongoing. The threat of further strikes remains in a number of regions.
Koretskyi urged residents to heed air-raid sirens and highlighted the work of the services currently dealing with the aftermath of the shelling.
"I would like to thank the rescue workers, medical staff, police officers and everyone who is currently working on the ground," he added.
