213 km of anti-drone defences were installed on key roads in August, - Ministry of Defence. PHOTO
The State Special Transport Service, acting on instructions from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, has installed 1,382.6 km of anti-drone defences along key logistics routes since the start of 2026.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, as relayed by Censor.NET.
What has already been done
As emphasised, the protected roads save the lives of Ukrainian servicemen, safeguard equipment and enhance the units’ ability to carry out combat missions.
Last month, in frontline regions:
- 213.1 km of anti-drone defences have been built;
- 129.3 km of roads have been repaired.
Work is ongoing across 23 sections
In total, since the start of the restoration work in April, routine repairs and maintenance have been carried out on 551.3 km of roads.
Work is currently underway on 23 sections, whilst a further 33 have already been fully completed.
