A military parade on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day is taking place on Khreshchatyk Street and Independence Square in Kyiv.

A Censor.NET correspondent reports.

The parade kicked off after Ukraine's national flag was raised and anthem played. 4,000 fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the National Police and the military reserve are taking part in the march. More than 200 pieces of military equipment will cruise along the Ukraine's main street.
