The critical and benchmark setting stage of the fire test of the Ukrainian-produced missiles is over. It was carried out in accordance with the objectives of the program approved by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov announced as he visited the firing range where the test was held, Censor.NET informs citing the NSDC press service.According to Turchynov, all missile launches have been very successful.
"In contrast to the Russian counterparts, the Ukrainian missiles are guided. That is why they hit targets more efficiently and accurately which has been proven during the test," the NSDC secretary explained.
Turchynov noted that in addition to missile launches, the multiple rocket launch control system was also tested today. This control system developed by the Ukrainian manufacturers provided reliable control and accurate missile guidance.
"Our scientists, designers, and manufacturers dedicated today's successful missile launches to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence," the NSDC secretary said.
