25 rescuers put out large-scale fire in Lviv. PHOTOS+VIDEO
A fire started in a derelict building on Mechnikov street in Lviv. No damage has been reported.
Censor.NET reports citing Main Administration of State Emergency Service in the Lviv regionAt the time the fire-rescue units arrived, a large part of the roof and wooden structural elements were on fire. The flames spread to the surrounding trees.
25 rescuers and 5 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing of the fire. The flame was localized at 8:46 p.m. and completely eliminated at 9:29 p.m. The fire destroyed 1200 sq. m. of the roof and the ceiling. The rescuers prevented ignition of the adjacent building.
