Nonaffiliated Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadiia Savchenko has made a decision to give up her parliamentary immunity.
As reported by Censor.NET, the lawmaker annnounced on Facebook."Three years have passed since the Maidan. It is time for the politicians to keep their promises without the third Maidan. The first promise I am acquitting myself of: I waive my parliamentary immunity and urge all Ukraine's MPs, the president of Ukraine, and Ukrainian judges to do the same!" she wrote.
Savchenko also posted a picture of herself holding the waiver statement.
