On 14 November, a former soldier opened fire near the Khust TCR in Zakarpattia because he was not being mobilised. No one was injured as a result of his actions, and an administrative report was drawn up against the man.
According to Censor.NET, the spokeswoman of the Main Directorate of the National Police for the Transcarpathian region, Anna Dan, told Ukrinform.
"It was a local resident, a military man, who fired shots from a starter noise gun near the TCR building. A police unit was called to the scene of the shooting, and the man was brought to administrative responsibility under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offences (disorderly conduct)," she said.
Dan added that no one was injured as a result of the man's actions, and he did not threaten anyone.
According to Suspilne, from sources in law enforcement agencies, the detainee is a former soldier who resigned from the Armed Forces for health reasons. The sources said that "the man shot because he was angry that he was not being mobilised".
