Russian capture of Bakhmut and Soledar will have no strategic impact on war - Kirby. VIDEO

John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the National Security Council, commented on the situation in Soledar and Bakhmut.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to Voice of America.
"We do not know how the situation will develop, so I will not predict success or failure. But even if the Russians take control of both Bakhmut and Soledar, it will not have a strategic impact on the war itself. And it will definitely not stop Ukrainians and will not slow down their efforts to regain their territory.
And I would remind - I know we are all focused on these two cities right now. But again, take a couple of steps back. And if you look at what has happened over the last 10 and a half months, particularly in Donbas, towns and villages have changed hands quite often. So my last comment is: don't write off the Ukrainians," Kirby said.
