Historical decision that will start historical responsibility - Zelensky on Putin’s arrest warrant. VIDEO

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky traditionally addressed Ukrainians with a video address on the evening of March 17.

As informs Censor.NЕТ, this is stated in official Facebook of Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president noted: "The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Putin. This is a historical decision that will start a historical responsibility.

The head of a terrorist state and another Russian official have officially become suspects in a war crime. The deportation of Ukrainian children is the illegal transfer of thousands of our children to the territory of a terrorist state.

It would have been impossible to carry out such a criminal operation without the order of the highest leader of the terrorist state. Separating children from their families, depriving them of the opportunity to contact their relatives, hiding children on the territory of Russia, throwing them into remote regions - all this is obviously Russian state policy, state decisions and state evil. Which begins with the highest official of this state.

I am grateful to the team of Prosecutor Karim Khan and the International Criminal Court, to everyone in the world who helps us in the fight for justice. I am grateful for the integrity and willingness to truly bring those responsible to justice.

Glory to all who are now fighting for Ukraine! Glory to all who help us protect our people!"

As reported by Censor.NET, on March 17, judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova. The aforementioned arrest warrants were issued on the basis of petitions filed by the prosecutor's office on February 22, 2023.

According to Prosecutor General Andrey Kostin, this means that Putin must be arrested outside of Russia and brought to court.
