Fighters of the RVC and the Legion of Freedom of Russia appealed to the governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, with a proposal to exchange captured Russian soldiers for the opportunity to talk to him personally.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the relevant appeal.
"We are ready to give you these prisoners, ordinary Russian soldiers, for the opportunity to talk to you personally," reads the appeal of the RVC and the Legion of Freedom of Russia to the governor of the Belgorod region.
"Today is a great Orthodox holiday - the Trinity. And we, the representatives of the RVC and Legion, offer to exchange these prisoners for a few minutes of communication with you in the church. Without weapons," the fighters said. They assure that they will wait for Gladkov in the church in Nova Tavolzhanka.
Governor Gladkov has not yet responded to the proposal.
