President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally addressed the public with a video address in the evening.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported in Zelensky's official telegram.

The Ukrainian president said: "The military cabinet. Our commanders are Generals Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi, Zaluzhnyi, Shaptala. And our commanders in specific areas of active operations - I'm not naming names yet: everything will come in due time. Our forward movement is the most important thing. Each of our soldiers, each of our new steps, each metre of Ukrainian land liberated from the enemy is the most important thing. And Budanov was a small step. I thank everyone who is now fighting for Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who is preparing to go into battle! Thank you to everyone who is helping us so much! Glory to Ukraine! We will defeat them all."
