Oil pipeline ruptured in Prykarpattia region, fire started - SES. VIDEO
An oil pipeline ruptured in Nadvirna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, with subsequent oil spillage and combustion.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"At 17:00, near the village of Strymba, Nadvirna district, an oil pipeline (150 mm in diameter) ruptured, followed by a spill of oil products along a stream over an area of 100 square metres and a fire, with the fire spreading to a private house," the statement said.
According to preliminary information, 3 people were injured.
The valves on the pipeline are currently closed. Rescuers are working at the site.
