There is shortage of people. More of them we will have, more quickly we will force out enemy – soldiers of 28th Brigade defending Ukraine on outskirts of occupied Kurdiumivka. VIDEO

The soldiers of the 28th Brigade are on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy positions are only 200 meters away.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the story of "Ukrainian witness".

These are the former Russian positions that our guys managed to recapture. From these fortifications, you can also see the Russian-occupied Horlivka.

A soldier with the call sign "Ninja" showed how he was using an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) and small arms to shoot at enemy manpower. After that, the journalists and the soldiers had to quickly take cover without waiting for the enemy to strike back.

"Russians have 'Good morning,'" Ninja says. - "Let them wake up. The first shell landed nearby, and the second one flew straight into the trench. I've already sighted in this place, I work like a sniper. I have repeatedly "three hundreded" them, our drone flew there and confirmed that the enemy was hit by the debris."

We also met a fighter in the trenches digging up frozen soil. His name is Oleh and his call sign is "Dovhyi (Long - ed.) ". The man told us why it is necessary to work with a shovel every day at these positions. "There's a lot of clay here, covered with black soil. "The trench is falling apart, so we need to reinforce it with wooden walls," he says. "But it's not cold, because the shovel warms it well. But when I return, I will throw away all the shovels at home."

According to the soldiers, infantry and commanders are needed at the front.

"There is a shortage of people. The more people we have, the faster we will drive the enemy out," says a fighter with the nickname "Hamster".

Despite the extremely difficult conditions, the guys continue to defend their land. A Ukrainian flag, riddled with bullets and shrapnel, stands at their positions. The guys say they put it up when they recaptured their positions. "The Russians are shooting at everything, including the flag," says Alkhimik, "but the flag is still standing, and we are standing as well.
