This day went down in history of our country - we signed security agreement with UK – Zelenskyy. VIDEO

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally addressed Ukrainians in a video address on the evening of January 12.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported in Zelenskyy's official telegram.

The Ukrainian President noted: "This day has already gone down in the history of our country: today we have an agreement with the United Kingdom, a security agreement that we have been working on for a long time. This is the first bilateral agreement that implements the basic agreement of the G7 on Ukraine's security, our defense, and our security growth. I thank the United Kingdom and personally Mr. Prime Minister Sunak for their primacy and leadership.

And, of course, I would like to thank all our friends in the Baltic states - we had three very productive visits. Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia. There are decisions on weapons for our soldiers, on economic support for Ukraine. Support for our relations with the European Union, our movement in NATO.

I thank everyone in the world who helps! I thank everyone who is fighting and working for Ukraine! I am proud of our people! It is thanks to the strength of our people that the world leaders pay attention to Ukraine and want to see Ukraine as their partner. Their ally. And we must all be worthy of the potential that Ukraine has."
