Russia's Ministry of Defence claims that last night it shot down 51 Ukrainian drones over the Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod Region, occupied Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
"Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 51 Ukrainian UAVs: 36 UAVs - over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, three UAVs - over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, two UAVs - over the territory of Belgorod region and 10 UAVs - over the waters of the Azov Sea," the statement said.
Earlier, the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that two districts had been subjected to a massive drone attack.
"Our air defense systems intercepted several dozen UAVs in the Crimean and Krasnoarmeyskiy districts," he wrote on social media.
Residents of Krymsk reported numerous explosions, and the Krymsk military airfield may have been the target of the attack.
