The new commander of the 93rd separate mechanised brigade "Kholodnyi Yar" is 27-year-old deputy of the previous brigade commander, Lieutenant Colonel Shamil Krutkov.
This was reported by the brigade's press service, Censor.NET informs.
"Thank you all for your service and resilience, it was a great honour for me. I am proud to have been with you for 23 months," said Colonel Pavlo Palisa, summing up his combat experience.
He handed over the brigade's flag to Lieutenant Colonel Shamil Krutkov.
Shamil Krutkov addressed the soldiers with the following words: "It is a great honour for me to lead one of the most powerful brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I would like to once again thank Colonel Pavlo Palisa for his significant contribution to the defence of the state and the resilience of the 93rd Brigade. I am proud to stand beside you."
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed the commander of the 93rd Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Pavlo Palisa, as Deputy Head of the Presidential Office.
