Zelenskyy on strikes on Ukraine: Russia’s words mean nothing, but its bombs and missiles speak very eloquently. VIDEO

Commenting on Russia's strikes on Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih on the evening of 6 December, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia does not want "real peace" but seeks to continue violence against our country.

He said this in his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.

The words from Russia mean nothing, but its bombs and missiles speak very eloquently. On the evening of St Nicholas Day, the bombs hit Zaporizhzhia - right on the service stations, on cars with people. As of now, we know about four wounded, all of them are being treated. Nine people are on the death list. A rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih - an ordinary city building. Seventeen people were wounded. Two of them are dead. And these are only two Russian strikes on two Ukrainian cities in one day," he said.

The President emphasised that thousands of such strikes carried out by Russia during this war make it absolutely clear that it is Putin who does not want real peace.

"He only needs the opportunity to do this to any country - bombs, missiles, all other violence. Only by force can we resist this. And only through force can real peace be established," Zelenskyy added.

As a reminder, a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on 6 December left a number of people dead and wounded, including a 6-year-old child.

The aftermath of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on 6 December: 9 killed, 17 wounded, including two children.
