There were no Istanbul agreements, Putin is old dreamer - Zelenskyy. VIDEO
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that "there were no Istanbul agreements", according to him it was an ultimatum from Russia.
He said this during a press conference in Brussels, Censor.NET reports.
"There was a response to the Russian Federation's ultimatum. He (Russian President Vladimir Putin - ed.) simply offered Ukraine to surrender, freeze the conflict, change the direction of development in Russia so that they could rule our country.
And this man says that these are some kind of deals. He's just an old dreamer! He lives in his own world and his own aquarium," Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, The New York Times published a document discussed by Ukraine and Russia in the spring of 2022. The draft of the so-called peace treaty was not agreed upon.
The Kremlin believes that negotiations on Ukraine based on the "Istanbul agreements" are possible.
