155th SMB commander stormed landing: "Brigadier gave order, enemy had 8 ’200s’, 5 were captured". VIDEO
"Nick", the commander of the 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 155th SMB, took command of the assault on the lost position due to the lack of combat experience of most of the mobilised men.
According to Censor.NET, the commander said he was forced to take command of an assault group that was supposed to recapture the occupiers' lost positions because almost all the soldiers had been mobilised without practical combat experience.
Two groups of soldiers, totalling 10 men, cleared the forest belt adjacent to the position and entered the enemy trenches. The confrontation resulted in eight killed occupiers and five prisoners. However, they did not manage to gain a foothold in the position - the enemy began using artillery and drones, and there were no suitable shelters at the captured position. The Ukrainian officer spoke about the course of the battle, the training of the soldiers and the interaction of various units in an interview with Butusov Plus.
