Satellite spots new barriers near Kerch bridge. VIDEO
Satellite imagery showed that new barges and barriers have appeared near the Kerch Bridge in temporarily occupied Crimea over the past week.
This was reported by the Krymskiy Veter telegram channel with reference to satellite images, Censor.NET reports.
Reportedly, the barriers are installed to close the damage in the storm protection, which was previously formed due to weather conditions. The occupiers continue to work to protect the bridge, which is a strategically important facility.
The data confirms that the Russian side is stepping up defensive measures, fearing new attacks that could threaten both the bridge and logistics in the region.
As of 29 December, it is likely that a large number of barriers near the Kerch Bridge are not functional, having been damaged by storms.
