Poll on priorities of military ombudsman’s work to be held in Army+ - Zelenskyy. VIDEO
In a video address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a poll on the priorities of the military ombudsman's work would be conducted in the Army+ app.
According to Censor.NET, the video was published on the President's Telegram channel.
"I have signed a decree appointing an ombudsman to protect the rights of our soldiers and military family members. Olha Reshetylova, a well-known Ukrainian human rights activist, will now be preparing a draft law on a military ombudsman - we need to create such an institution. And it's not just about one person - we need systematic work, so that the ombudsman has an apparatus and all the real possibilities to influence the situation and help. And it is very important that each of our servicemen feel that it is really possible to ask for support and receive it. What exactly and how exactly the military ombudsman should do should be properly developed with the participation of our soldiers and asked directly. And we are doing this on the Army+ platform. We are launching a survey about the military ombudsman, and I ask each of our soldiers and officers to tell us what their priorities should be," Zelenskyy said.
