Russian prisoner tells about losses of DPRK military: "There were Koreans ahead of us, but I saw only dead ones". VIDEO

Zlobin Andrey Valerievich from the 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Army was captured by Ukrainian paratroopers in the village of Makhnovka, Kursk region.

In 2023, Zlobin went to the forest to collect firewood. He chopped some wood and brought it home. Russia's penal system sentenced Zlobin to 3.5 years in prison and stripped him of the officer's rank he had received at university. The man served almost a year in prison until recruiters for the Russian army arrived in April 2024.

This was reported by the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.

"I signed a contract, they promised that I would be 'clean' - not convicted. They assured me that I would serve for six months and then be released," says Zlobin.

During the war, Zlobin took part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. He was in the Donetsk region. He received several injuries. After treatment, he got to the Kursk region.

"We were sent to defend a fortified area near Makhnovka. We occupied the basements, no one changed us for a long time, and there was no communication. One day, your guys took us prisoner right in the basement," Zlobin complains.

"There were Koreans ahead of us, but I saw only dead people. A lot of them. They were lying on the streets," the prisoner said.
