President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia plans to increase the size of its army by about 150 thousand additional troops in 2025.
He said this in an interview with The Guardian, Censor.NET reports.
"Intelligence told me. We know this. They, the Russians, will increase their army by 12-15 divisions in 2025. And we believe that it will be about 150 thousand additional military personnel," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, this will be achieved through mobilization, training, and possibly the involvement of North Korean military personnel who can join the ranks of the Russian army.
Zelenskyy also noted that there is a high probability that Russia will train new soldiers in Belarus, which further exacerbates the situation on the eastern front.
Earlier it was reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about attempts to assassinate him at the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion in 2022.
