On the evening of Saturday, 8 March, Russian invaders attacked Zaporizhzhia and the region. A fire broke out.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov said this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"Russians struck at Zaporizhzhia and the region. A fire broke out as a result of enemy shelling. Preliminary, there were no casualties," the official wrote.
Fedorov added that there were up to 10 explosions in Zaporizhzhia. He urged people not to neglect safety rules.
The day before, at 09:25 p.m., the Ukrainian Air Force reported enemy UAV strikes in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Earlier, it was reported that on the evening of Saturday, 8 March, Russian attack drones were spotted in Ukrainian airspace. The occupiers launched the first groups of UAVs from the north.

Subsequently, the head of the RMA, Fedorov, reported that the Russians had attacked critical infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia.
"There may be restrictions on gas and heat supply due to enemy strikes. All emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences," the official wrote.
