Zelenskyy meets with Finnish Prime Minister Orpo to discuss defence support for Ukraine. VIDEO
On Wednesday, 19 March, during his visit to Finland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo.
The head of state said this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
The politicians discussed efforts to bring about a just and lasting peace, as well as what is needed to protect Ukraine.
In particular, they talked about strengthening air defence, supplying artillery systems and shells, and investing in the production of Ukrainian weapons.
"We also talked about the importance of involving as many countries and international organisations as possible in the coalition of civilian protection shelters and Finland's participation in the reconstruction of our country," the Head of State said.
In addition, Zelenskyy thanked Finland for all its support for Ukraine and especially for the 28th defense assistance package.
