Ukrainian Armed Forces are catching Russian quadcopters in nets: 63rd Brigade demonstrates new tactics. VIDEO
Ukrainian defenders use a quadcopter and traps to destroy Russian drones.
The video was published by the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Censor.NET reports.
"A real drone war in the skies of the Lyman region! The pilots of the 63rd Brigade are shooting down both enemy wings at an altitude of several kilometres and Russian Mavic drones that are hunting near our positions," the statement said.
Previously, the military rammed Russian quadcopters, but there was a risk of losing their own "bird".
Ukrainian defenders then began to use nets. A Ukrainian drone hovers over the enemy's quadcopter and drops a net on it. As a result, the occupier's drone gets tangled in it and falls to the ground.
