President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that in the coming weeks or months there is an opportunity to force Russia to agree to a ceasefire.
He said this during a conversation with the heads of territorial communities in the Chernihiv region, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, no matter how differently we see some things, we all have our own interests with the Americans and the Europeans. Of course, we are all united on the issue of an early ceasefire. It's a matter of putting pressure on the Russians to get there.
I think it is possible to do this within the next few weeks, maybe months, yes, it can be different. Sometimes everything happens at the same time. Especially with this part of the end of the war. We believe that the hot phase is a complete ceasefire," he said.
