Evacuation at "zero line": how wounded soldiers are being transported from Dachne near Toretsk. VIDEO
The journalists showed how the evacuation from the village of Dachne near Toretsk, which is held by the Defence Forces, is taking place.
This is stated in the story of "Ukrainian witness", Censor.NET reports.
On DeepState maps, it is half in the grey zone, but the settlement is controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Since December 2022, the 28th separate mechanised brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign has been operating in this area. They are joined by the 1004th Mechanised Infantry Battalion.
The soldiers are preparing to evacuate the wounded and a fighter who spent several days at the positions in Dachne.
Evacuation near Toretsk is an extremely difficult task. The enemy is shelling the roads with artillery, and communication is interrupted by the work of electronic warfare devices, so the soldiers are forced to constantly change their routes.
"To get to Dachne from Kostiantynivka, you have to travel about 20 km on a dark road without headlights and through fields, preferably in bad weather, to avoid being spotted by enemy drones," the article says.
"Insat" fighter, deputy commander of the brigade's weapons unit, said:
"We are going to our beloved Dachne to pick up our fighters. We will take 300. He is already the second today. They are scattering the 'petals'".
"Petals" are anti-personnel landmines that are remotely emplaced and are prohibited by the Ottawa Convention. They are used in large numbers by Russian troops. One soldier was lightly wounded, and the other was seriously wounded with arterial bleeding. The wound was sustained by a machine gunner with the call sign "Greek" while saving his wounded comrade. It was because of his injury that the time was counting down to minutes with the barrier in place.
The evacuation team had to wait out the artillery shelling. However, the vehicle arrived in Dachne in 2 hours.
