Defence forces captured 21 Russian soldiers in Donetsk region – Azov. VIDEO
Ukrainian Defense Forces troops operating in the defensive sector of brigades of the Azov 1st Corps of the National Guard captured 21 Russian servicemembers in the Dobropillia and Kostiantynivka directions.
This was reported by the press service of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov", according to Censor.NET.
"The video shows 21 Russians captured by Ukrainian Defence Forces soldiers in the defence zone of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov" in the Dobropillia and Kostyantynivka directions," the report says.
The corps noted that some of the Russian soldiers surrendered voluntarily, while others had to be forced to lay down their arms.
The Azov command thanked the units of the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov, the 14th Operational Brigade Chervona Kalyna, the 4th Operational Brigade "Rubizh," as well as the airborne assault troops and assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for "replenishing the POW exchange pool."
