Fedorov has declined position of head of Presidential Administration. He is to head Zelenskyy’s future election campaign headquarters, - Zheleznyak. VIDEO

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has declined the offer to head the Office of the President. In the event of elections, he may head Volodymyr Zelenskyy's campaign headquarters or new party.

This was announced by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of parliament from the Voice party, according to Censor.NET.

New head of Servant of the People

  • Zhelezniak confirmed that on 17 December, Servant of the People will change its party leader. Instead of Olena Shulyak, Oleksandr Kornienko will once again head the party.

In his opinion, this is a good decision:

"This is good news for Servant of the People. Sasha is objectively not a bad choice. He definitely knows what elections are. In principle, I think he has a good understanding of the party's activities. So, probably, this is good for Servant of the People, if, in principle, anything can be good for this party."

Fedorov's new role

"Many of my sources say that he will eventually lead some party. It just won't be the Servant of the People brand, which, let's be honest, is completely dead to everyone, but some new brand, something about Zelenskyy or about victory, depending on what the focus groups show. And in the future, if there are elections, he will even head the election headquarters for the upcoming elections, in which Zelenskyy will participate. If he runs for a second term... And the spokesperson and face of the election campaign will be Mykhailo Fedorov," Zhelezniak said.

He added that there will be no decision on the new head of the Presidential Office in the near future, because "everyone is flying by."
