Thanks to the professional and prompt actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, another Russian offensive attempt was thwarted before it even reached Ukrainian positions.
According to Censor.NET, under cover of fog and limited visibility, units of the Russian Armed Forces carried out a motorised infantry assault in the area of responsibility of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard "Azov". The enemy used significant infantry forces and 16 quad bikes in the attack, attempting to quickly advance deep into the defences.
However, the assault group was detected and stopped as it approached the positions of the Defence Forces. The timely mining of the area, the coordinated work of unmanned systems units and accurate artillery strikes completely thwarted the offensive.
