Vahanian on call with Zelenskyy: He said investigation would be conducted into Bakanov. VIDEO

Businessman Serhii Vahanian spoke about a conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He mentioned this during a meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission, according to Censor.NET.

Details

According to him, the conversation was very short.

"Sukhachov (Director of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) - Ed.) initiated this conversation. He put the phone on speaker so that I could make sure this was indeed an order from the President and not something they were doing on their own. In response, he (Zelenskyy) confirmed it to me and said that the Interpol search, I was on an Interpol wanted list at the time, there was a Red Notice, that they would have the Interpol search canceled for me.

And that I should continue to cooperate with the investigation, that I should give the testimony that I am giving. And if Ivan Hennadiiovych (Bakanov, former head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU)) is guilty of anything, and the group of people I name, then law enforcement agencies represented by the SBI will sort everything out, the guilty will be punished, and they will return to me everything that was taken from me," he said.

At the same time, the businessman is convinced that he spoke personally with Zelenskyy, as he "recognised his voice."
