69-year-old pensioner from Tokmak sentenced to 15 years for donations to Armed Forces of Ukraine. VIDEO
The occupation court in the Zaporizhzhia region found Tokmak resident Svitlana Loy guilty of " high treason" for transferring money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman, who had obtained a Russian passport, transferred 63,420 roubles from her Ukrainian pension.

Svitlana Loi, born in 1956, lives in Tokmak, which is under temporary Russian occupation. In December 2023, she received a Russian passport but did not renounce her Ukrainian citizenship.
Between January and November 2024, Loi systematically transferred funds to the Ukrainian Armed Forces through the mobile app of one of the Ukrainian banks. In total, she made 24 transfers amounting to 63,420 roubles, using hryvnias from her Ukrainian pension.
Svitlana Loi was charged with high treason under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - allegedly for "financial assistance to a foreign country and activities against the security of the Russian Federation".
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found her guilty and sentenced her to 15 years in a general regime colony with a one-year restriction.
