President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Czech President Petr Pavel, during which they discussed military support for Ukraine.

Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.

Czech initiative

"Thank you for the Czech initiative to supply our country with ammunition and for continuing it. We expect that the delivery of shells will take place without any delays," Zelenskyy said.

Protection programmes

The presidents also discussed cooperation in joint defence programmes: the Czech Republic's possible participation in the PURL initiative and the potential implementation of joint projects within the SAFE instrument.

"Thank you for the meeting and all your help for Ukraine," Zelenskyy added.
