This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram, according to Censor.NET.
Attacks throughout the week
This week alone, they launched about 1,300 strike drones, more than 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 50 missiles, almost all of them ballistic, at Ukraine. Today, the enemy attacked the Odesa, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions.
Where is the enemy targeting?
According to Zelenskyy, as before, the main target of these strikes is the energy sector.
"The Russians are deliberately combining strikes to destroy our power generation, substations and grid. Many strikes were on residential infrastructure. Our soldiers are shooting down a significant portion of the missiles, but unfortunately, not all of them. Therefore, there can be no pause in protecting lives," the head of state said.
"In Munich, we agreed with the leaders of the Berlin format on specific packages of energy and military aid for Ukraine until 24 February. I am grateful to our partners for their willingness to help, and we expect that all supplies will arrive promptly. Ukraine needs air defence every day to deprive Russia of its means of terror. Thank you to everyone who is helping," Zelenskyy added.
