Russian teenagers demonstrate their proficiency with Kalashnikov assault rifles in Orthodox Church near Moscow. VIDEO

The Russian Orthodox Church continues to transform itself into a military commissariat, using religious buildings to militarise young people. According to Censor.NET, in the village of Obukhovo (near Moscow), one of the Russian Orthodox Church's churches organised firearms training for teenagers.

The published footage shows minors, under the guidance of instructors, demonstrating their skills in handling automatic weapons right in the church hall, against the backdrop of icons and religious attributes.

Details of the "church manoeuvres":

  • Child militarisation: Instead of Sunday school, teenagers are taught "young soldier courses". Demonstrations with weapons in hand are held in the temple.

  • Sectarian approach: Putin's sect actively recruits children into "military-patriotic clubs" at churches. The goal is obvious: to raise a generation for whom killing on the Kremlin's orders will be considered a "sacred duty."

  • Altar weapons: Holding such events in places that should be dedicated to peace and spirituality proves once and for all that the Russian Orthodox Church is an aggressive military organisation that has nothing to do with Christianity.

This "master class" in the Obukhovo church is only part of a large-scale campaign to prepare reserves for future waves of mobilisation. The use of religion for the ideological indoctrination of children is a classic feature of a totalitarian regime, where the church acts as an instrument of terror.

"Putin's sect has completely stopped pretending to have anything in common with the teachings of Christ. Now its temples are filled with armed people and worship of war. Glorification of murder and militarism. This religious organisation is undoubtedly dangerous, and its activities outside Russia should be banned," the video commentary states.
