Ukrainian-produced Varta armored vehicle tested in Poltava region. VIDEO

Special Ukrainian-produced Varta armored vehicle has been tested at Kremenchuk testing field in the Poltava region.

As reported by Censor.NET, after completion of all tests, the vehicle will come into service with Interior Ministry units, the National Police, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the Spetsnaz.
Varta armored vehicle is produced in Ukraine by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles Design and Production Enterprise. It belongs to a class of MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) wheeled armored vehicle with an increased mine-protection. This type of vehicle has a high ground clearance, the V-shaped bottom that effectively dissipates the explosion energy and withstands fragments, the armor that protects against small arms fire, the chassis capable of taking personnel to safety under enemy fire without fail.

Varta's maximum highway speed reaches 110 km/h, while a single fueling is enough to cover 1,200 kilometers.
