Russian soldier mistakenly took fighter from 142nd Mechanised Brigade for one of his own and was immediately eliminated by automatic fire. VIDEO

A Ukrainian soldier from the 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 142nd Separate Mechanised Brigade killed a Russian invader with small arms in close combat.

According to Censor.NET, the occupier, whilst moving through the area, mistakenly took the brigade soldier for one of his own, but this proved to be a fatal mistake.

Footage shows the invader heading towards a Defence Forces soldier, who reacted instantly and eliminated the enemy with automatic fire.

The Ukrainian defender’s skilful combat work was captured by a UAV in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
