SSU hits key Russian pumping station supplying fuel to Moscow region. VIDEO

Specialists from the Alpha Special Operations Centre of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) struck the Vtorovo line operation dispatcher station (LODS) in Russia’s Vladimir region.

Specialists from the Alpha Special Operations Centre of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) struck the Vtorovo line operation dispatcher station (LODS) in Russia’s Vladimir region.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the SSU press centre.

Details

The station is a key hub in the system of main oil product pipelines and transfers raw materials (mainly diesel fuel) from oil refineries in central Russia to export ports and domestic consumers. It supplies fuel to large oil depots around Moscow and the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.

Following a successful drone attack by the SSU, a massive fire broke out at the facility, covering an area of 800 m².

"Unlike the enemy, which deliberately attacks civilian infrastructure and civilians, Ukraine delivers precision strikes exclusively against military and strategic targets linked to the support of Russian aggression. The Security Service continues to systematically carry out the President of Ukraine’s tasks to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation, which is being used to wage war against our state," the statement reads.

New operations are being prepared

"The SSU is already preparing new special operations. The intensity of Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory will only increase. Our long-range sanctions will continue to be effective," said Yevhen Khmara, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
