FPV drone operators of 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade intercept Russian UAVs flying to attack Ukrainian soldiers. VIDEO

In the Lyman sector, FPV drone operators from the 66th Separate Mechanised Brigade carried out a successful operation to cover Ukrainian troops, intercepting Russian drones that were heading to attack positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Censor.NET, enemy FPV drones attempted to attack soldiers of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion "Adolfivna’s Grandchildren," but Ukrainian operators detected the threat in time and sent their own drones to intercept them.

The decision to cover their comrades had to be made in a matter of seconds. FPVs of the "Henkel" and "Shtuka" crews immediately flew out to meet the enemy drones.

A real drone war unfolded in the air. Thanks to two precise interceptions, Ukrainian operators managed to destroy three Russian drones that had already been targeting Ukrainian troops.

Footage of the combat operation was released by servicemen of the 66th Separate Mechanised Brigade.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the FPV operators, they managed not only to destroy enemy drones but also to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
