Russian man sits in car at night in queue at gas station: "There is no crisis," our great president said "firmly and clearly" today. VIDEO

A video has been shared on social media showing a resident of a Russian city demonstrating a large queue at a local gas station and criticizing statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin about stability in the petroleum products market.

As Censor.NET reports, another confirmation of the fuel crisis appeared after public assurances by Russia’s top leadership that the situation was fully under control and that fuel reserves corresponded to the levels of previous years.

The author of the video, who is forced to wait in a queue at night on the approach to a fuel pump, ironically commented on the Kremlin leader’s words:

"Today, our great president said firmly and clearly: ‘There is no crisis,’ ‘fuel stocks are almost like last year.’ I believe it, I absolutely believe it. I have been standing in line for 45 minutes at the only gas station where I found gasoline in the city. And I drove past eight gas stations. Judging by the number of cars here, there really are stocks. It is just that now they are the only ones for the entire city. So our great president did not lie again. Whenever you listen to him, nothing but truth flows. A joy to the ears!"
