Bridge on Donetsk-Mariupol highway destroyed by Ukrainian drones. VIDEO

A video has been shared on social media showing the extent of the destruction of a bridge on the Donetsk-Mariupol highway in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

According to Censor.NET, the damage to the structure was the result of a successful raid by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.

"Detailed footage of the aftermath of a kamikaze drone raid on a road bridge on the Donetsk-Mariupol highway," the commentary to the video says.

As a reminder, on the night of July 1, a bridge near Kremenivka on the Mariupol-Donetsk highway in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region was completely destroyed. It was important for the logistics of Russian troops. After the strike, the bridge sustained critical damage and collapsed completely.

As a result, the Russian military has blocked traffic from the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol towards Donetsk.

The occupiers are currently diverting traffic via Kremenivka. This increases the route toward Mariupol by another 15–20 kilometres.
