Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, Su-24M aircraft in occupied Crimea and relay stations in Bryansk region have been hit, – Zelenskyy. VIDEO
The defence forces struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, a logistics hub in the Samara Region, and also destroyed Russian military equipment at the Saki airfield and in the Bryansk Region.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
Zelenskyy emphasised that Ukraine’s long-range sanctions continue to limit Russia’s military and economic potential and make the war more tangible for the aggressor nation.
He also recalled that over the past 24 hours, our units struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, 1,000 kilometres from the front line.
"This represents millions of dollars in lost export revenue for the military machine. It is also a logistics hub in the Samara region. We have also carried out operations in the Black Sea.
There are confirmed results from previous strikes: a Su-24M aircraft and four pieces of airfield equipment were destroyed at the ‘Saki’ airfield, whilst in the Bryansk region, relay stations used to control drones – with which the occupiers guide UAVs towards peaceful Ukrainian towns and villages – were neutralised," the head of state noted.
He also thanked all the soldiers of the Ukrainian Defence Forces for their excellent work and for depriving Russia of its strategic rear.
