Oil refineries, airfields, missile unit and logistics: Defence Forces struck 16 targets in Russian Federation over past 24 hours, – Zelenskyy. VIDEO
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops have struck 16 targets in Russia.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Censor.NET.
What was struck
- In particular, long-range strikes were carried out against oil facilities – the Russian ‘oil wallet’ that is financing the war.
- Strikes were also carried out on airfields, a missile unit and infrastructure that are constantly used to launch attacks on Ukraine.
- Ukrainian sanctions have also taken effect against a military enterprise and Russian logistics operations.
Ukraine responds to Russian strikes
Zelenskyy emphasised that the war must be driven back to where it came from.
"Ukraine is responding to Russian strikes and is doing so in such a way that the cost of the war for the aggressor inevitably rises. We are justly reducing Russia’s capacity for aggression. Thank you to all the soldiers involved for their accuracy! Glory to Ukraine!" – added the president.
