The Defence Forces have refuted a Russian disinformation claim regarding the alleged occupation of the village of Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region.

This was reported by the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade ‘Magura’, according to Censor.NET.

"The information regarding the alleged capture of the village of Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region is untrue.

Some Russian propaganda accounts are spreading information claiming that the Russians have captured the village of Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region, which is within the area of responsibility of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade. We can confirm that this is yet another piece of disinformation from the Russian Federation. There has been no breach of the defences. Soldiers of the 47th Mechanised Brigade continue to hold their designated positions," the statement reads.
