Nasirov's lawyers deliberately biding time, - Kholodnytskyi. VIDEO
The Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Office (SAPO) Nazar Kholodnytskyi said, Censor.NET reports.
"Everyone appeals to health condition, to the disqualification of the judge. They've just disqualified a judge, then they'll start disqualification of the prosecutor, then they'll disqualify the chairs the prosecutors sit on. Everything is done to take time so that 72 hours pass," he said.
"All our counteractions and behavior can be regarded as pressure on the court," the official added.
Earlier, NABU and SAP agents arrived at Feofania hospital to serve an indictment for criminal offence against Ukraine's chief taxman Roman Nasirov. The doctors barred the investigators and prosecutor from entering the ward saying Nasirov had allegedly suffered a heart attack.
Nasirov is accused of taking unreasonable decisions on restructuring rental fees for the extraction of minerals, which helped Ukraine's fugitive MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko implement corruption schemes he is being charged with.
March 3, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine suspended Nasirov from office pending investigation. Myroslav Prodan was appointed acting head of the State Fiscal Service.
