EU Will Not Lift Sanctions against Russia - German Foreign Ministry

The EU sanctions against Russia will remain without changes, as the situation in the Donbas has not stabilized yet, the German government says.

According to Censor.NET, citing dw.de, the EU will leave thesanctions against Russia without changes,imposed in connection with the situation in Ukraine.

"Everything will remain the same as it had been agreed and adopted at the European level," German Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Schäfer said on Monday, September 29.

"We have not reached the point yet when we can say that we can ease the sanction," Schäfer saidReuters.
